The Spokane International District was launched in 2009 as part of Impact Capital’s Vibrant Communities Initiative.
This program works with stakeholders on the ground to strengthen neighborhood commercial districts, increase public safety and cleanliness, create parks and open space, improve educational opportunities and help families build assets. The City of Spokane and East Central Community Organization (ECCO) have partnered with Impact Capital to develop and implement an Action Plan, leading revitalization efforts.
